Chymical Wedding

Ouroboros Press has received many requests to publish an edition of the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz over the years and I am very pleased to announce that we are about to do just that. The press has commissioned woodcut artist Dexter Brightman to make special illustrations for the project. Several full-page illustrations, an exquisite portrait of Johann Valentine Andreae and ornamental decorations by Brightman bring this classic Rosicrucian text alive. Augmenting the Renaissance style these woodcuts provide we have selected the Doves typeface as complementary to the overall design of the book.

A very limited number of copies of the woodcut portrait of Andreae will be printed by hand on an antique printing press by the artist to raise funds toward the printing of the book.
