The Mirror of the Wisdom of the Rosy Cross is considered by many to be the 'fourth' Rosicrucian Manifesto and is here presented in an English translation for Ouroboros Press. Writing under the pseudonym Theophilius Schweighardt, Mogling offers a detailed explanation of three copperplate engravings regarding the intentions behind the Rosicrucian Order. The original was published in Oppenheim in 1618 by Johann Theodor de Bry and illustrated with very fine emblematic engravings, which are also reproduced here.
